With the most recent Taylor Swift song and the video for it changing over to pop music from country, we haven’t been hearing the song ‘Shake it Off’ on our local Nashville country radio stations like we always did for her other songs when they were released. We asked our favorite Nashville-area disc jockey if she would be playing ‘Shake It Off’ on their country radio format and the answer was “Probably not – not unless there is a countrified version of the song that gets released by the record label.”
We don’t even have any ‘pop; radio stations in the Nashville area that we are aware of and we’re not sure where to find them on the dial, except maybe if we go online and look for an internet radio station that plays ‘pop’ music. But we have a video about Taylor Swift‘s hit song to share with our readers today, titled “Taylor Swift Smashes Huge Records” and it tells us about the debut of the song on Billboard’s hot music lists and that the song broke records with it’s standings on Billboard.
