It is hard for us to believe that it’s already been 10 years since Carrie Underwood first burst upon the country music scene in Nashville after winning the title of ‘American Idol’. After winning the musical reality show and coming to Nashville, it didn’t take long for her to be inducted into the well-known Nashville institution known as the ‘Grand Ole Opry‘, where she has remained a loyal and contributing member to the long-running radio program since that time.
One of our favorite songs is her very first one titled ‘Jesus Take The Wheel’, and as she continues to record and perform and win more and more awards, we are just amazed at the beauty of this singer and her performances tend to awe her audience. It seems her voice only increases in tone and strength as she carries on with her life as a bona-fide country music star, wife of Nashville Predators’ hockey player, Mike Fisher, plus mother to young Isaiah Michael Fisher.
