This past weekend, the grand Nashville institution of the Grand Ole Opry celebrated being in it’s current home at the Grand Ole OpryHouse for the past 40 years. On hand to help celebrate were many of the Opry members and friends of the Opry, including many who have appeared as guests on the longest-running radio show.
We have several slideshow photos to share with our readers, especially for those who could not be there in attendance at this grand celebration event.
On one of our many trips to the Grand Ole Opry a few years past, we were able to take a back-stage tour before the Opry performances began and even got to take our own photos in the famous ‘circle’ on the floor of the stage.
To hear the weekly performances by the Grand Ole Opry cast and their guests, you can tune your radio to WSM-AM 650 each Saturday night, and you can also listen online at wsmonline.com.
Tickets to attend the Opry are a ‘must’ if you visit Nashville and those are available online at opry.com. Come to Nashville if you like country music and go to the Opry. We think you will be glad you did!
