We wondered just how it could be done when we first heard the news about an expansion project at the world-famous Ryman Auditorium in downtown Nashville which is taking place without closing this venue down. The Ryman Auditorium is host to the also, world-famous, Grand Ole Opry and is the usual place for the Opry to be performed during most of the winter months, plus a generally full schedule of musical performances when spots are open on their schedule.
While the current work on this planned expansion project is going on, it will not interfere with the running of the Ryman venue as life and shows will go on. The maximum seating capacity of the Ryman is 2362, and if you have not been there yet, you can check at their web site for various musical happenings which you may want to attend. It is an experience to be savored and enjoyed, especially if you attend the Grand Ole Opry there. The photos in the attached list are from Getty Images and the photos of the general construction will show our readers various views at the expansion groundbreaking at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee on October 1, 2014.
