We’ve been talking recently to some of our many Facebook friends who are active in the music industry, either in or around Nashville. Today’s subject is Sherri Justice, from Huntsville, Alabama, who hosts a country music TV show, titled “The Beauty of Music’. Her show, which features interviews with many established country music stars, has also featured several up-and-coming Nashville singers and songwriters who are looking to promote their music careers. We wanted to dig a little deeper into Sherri’s background to find out what brings her to this place in time.

We find from the information that Sherri provided us that “Justice for All” is not just simply a slogan which she uses for her weekly country music TV show, “The Beauty of Music;” but it is also an ideal by which she lives. Sherri, who can be considered a country music journalist on-the-rise, is the host of a show full of lively interviews, personal stories and backstage footage on eWaveTV(Ariel Media Group, LLC). By showcasing the talented artists of both today and tomorrow, as well as the legends who’ve gone before, Sherri would likely be the first to say that the “The Beauty of Music” is more about getting to the heart of the music, rather than to only showcase the outward appearances which are so often celebrated in today’s media driven world.

‘The Beauty of Music’, which not only includes the glitz and glamour of red carpet events and backstage parties, is also about connecting to music on a deeper, emotional level. Sherri recently stated, “These interviews are both real and genuine; I work hard to get to the heart of the artist and their songs. Since everyone wants to know what inspired the truly emotional songs, plus the experience which was lived through to create them; we are able to bring that out and highlight that beauty through our show.”

With a natural talent at communications, Sherri has developed an approach to get close to her subjects without the need for a “do-or-die’ endeavor. Among the many artists which have been featured on “The Beauty of Music” are, not only the well-known and popular quartet, The Oak Ridge Boys, and father and son, Willie and Lukas Nelson, but also Ronnie Dunn, Wade Hayes, Lorrie Morgan, Stella Parton, and Mickey Gilley, plus others. Sherri said that some of the most intriguing photo-ops are from behind the scenes and some of those featured Hank Williams Jr., Brantley Gilbert, Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Tracy Lawrence, Kris Kristofferson, Kid Rock, and Sheryl Crow. With Sherri’s all-encompassing attitude toward music, “The Beauty of Music” also makes room for newer independent artists to share in the spotlight on the show as well.
