Departed THIS MORNING for Greenville, MS with Blues-Rock & Roots Artist, Travis Bowlin & The Travis Bowlin Band: Brian “B.D.” Mooney (BASS) Herbert Aaron (HARP), & Lee Hines (DRUMS) to perform in the 3rd Annual Delta Dragon Boat Festival TONIGHT, July 29th at 7 PM CDT.
Going into the heart of the Delta Blues! I’m sure we’ll make a few stops along the way and visit the historic “Crossroads” the Blues Museum and Johnny Lee Hooker Blvd in Clarksdale & Rosedale, MS. This will be a very special & historic visit for Travis & his band. This will be Travis’s first visit to the Mississippi Delta – the “Birth” of The Blues. I’m sure it will be an emotional time for Travis as his soul connects with this region. A “Real” Blues man finally “coming home.”
